Hotel Di Seminyak Bali TdS digelar di Padang, mulai Selasa (1/6) ini dengan etape pertama yang melombakan jarak pendek ini membutuhkan kekuatan dan stamina yang prima untuk menaklukkan rute. Etape pertama ini tidak jauh berbeda dengan tahun lalu. Nomor TTT dijadikan prolog sebagai kesempatan membuka jalan menuju juara.

Ada 12 peserta asing dan 10 tim lokal beradu cepat. Wawan mengatakan etape pertama ini cukup berat. “Medan flat (datar), tetapi kita bisa melihat dan mengukur kekuatan tim-tim yang berlomba hari ini,” kata Wawan, mantan sprinter nasional.

Soal lawan-lawan yang patut diwaspadai, ia menyebut Aisan Racing Team Jepang yang tahun lalu menjadi runner up di etape TTT tahun lalu di bawah Budget Forklift Australia. Selain Aisan, ia juga menilai KSPO Korea, Azad University, Petrochemical Tabriz Team (keduanya dari Iran), dan Giant, yang merupakan langganan even berskala internasional.

Wawan menyatakan, tim-tim internasional inilah yang bakal mengambil peran. Tapi dia tak meremehkan pembalap-pembalap lokal yang bisa memberi kejutan. “Mungkin pembalap asing masih diunggulkan, namun pembalap dan tim lokal bisa tiba-tiba membuat kejutan,” katanya.

Tahun lalu PSN Surabaya sempat mengejutkan dengan menduduki posisi keempat di bawah Budget Forklift Australia, Aisan Jepang, dan Petrochemical Tabriz Iran. PSN juga langsung menduduki posisi teratas klasemen Indonesia Team, selain mengantar Herwin sebagai pembalap Indonesia tercepat.

Wawan menyatakan, akan berusaha mengantar siapa pun pembalap yang ingin merebut red-white jersey. Termasuk berupaya mengantar Herwin lagi menjadi pembalap nasional tercepat,” ujarnya. Dari lima pembalap yang dibawa PSN, dua sprinter dan seorang climber, sedangkan lainnya pembalap yang memiliki kelengkapan, baik di medan flat maupun tanjakan.

Dua sprinter yang diharapkan eksis adalah Mat Nur dan Rasta Patria. Sedangkan pembalap yang diharapkan bisa merebut General Classification adalah Hari Fitrianto sebagai climber. Dua pembalap pekerja yang dibawa Rasta Patria dan Jimmy Pranata. iko
